In September of 1988, my parents got married with a couple of their close friends as witnesses at the Justice of the Peace in Maryland. There were no bridesmaid, groomsmen, and no cutting of the cake. So, 25 years later, with the help of some close family friends, my best friend (and photographer), and the ever popular Pinterest, I decided to give them the party they never had.
Take a peak at some of the photos from that amazing day. It was amazing to plan and even more amazing to be a part of the celebration. Happy 25th Mom and Dad.
BIG THANKS to Ashley Marie Photography, and Tanya Pearre--the lovely cake designer.
For the past few months I've had the absolute pleasure of designing for one of my best friends-- Ashley Leary. Ashley and her husband, Sean, were engaged to be married on October 9, 2012. The next morning --bright and early-- she called me to tell me the amazing news! After getting super emotional and super excited for her and Sean I said, "Let me know when you want me to make invitations!"
After months of planning, Ashley and Sean said "I Do" on August 31, 2013!
Last week, I was in North Carolina for the big day and all the events leading up to it (which included a "just us" trip to Wilmington, a bridal shower, rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner). As bridesmaids, Ashley's sister, Ashley's best friend since 2nd grade, and I helped Ashley's mom plan a "Brunch at Tiffany's" themed bridal shower. This was so much fun to plan and design for! Check out the photos in the gallery below!
Congratulations Ashley and Sean!
